This book “Teacher Education: Perspectives and Practices” discusses the perspectives and practices of Indian teacher education programs in order to shed new light on the national priorities, policies, curriculum inputs, inclusive education, assessment practices, curriculum development, innovative teaching methods, ICT, pedagogies, challenges and future trends in a total of 15 chapters. It examines and compares the complexity of teacher education in international contexts, providing insights into educational change and reforms. It is our hope that the insights shared in this book will inspire student teachers, teacher educators, researchers, and policymakers to continue exploring innovative ways in teaching and learning process.
