
The day of 27th & 28th March, 2025 was celebrated with colourful joys of expression at Unity College of Teacher Education. As the College celebrated International World Theatre cum Painting Exhibition under the theme: “Theatre and a Culture of Peace” organised by Drama and Fine Art Club, 100 pieces of painting work were exhibited on 27th March, 2025 by 2nd Semester under the guidance of Mr. H. Akup Buchemhu, Asst. Professor, UCTE. The following day, 28th March, 2025 was marked by two drama performance: 1) “The Wax Lady” picked from the folklore of Lotha Naga and 2) “The Clever Friend” from Zeliang Naga folklore by Section A Student-Teacher. A trailer of upcoming play to observe Cultural Day was also performed entitled “Sumi and the Dance of the Dark Spirits” guided by Mr. V. Uto Chishi, Asst. Professor, UCTE which is based on Sumi Naga folklore written by Toinali Sema, Ph.D Scholar.
