The Women’s Cell of UCTE celebrated International Women’s Day on 7th March 2025 to
commemorate the strength and resilience of women in and around the world under the theme
“Accelerate Action”. The resource person for the program was Repabenla Longkumer who is
an Advocate, Case Worker (Legal) Sakhi One Stop Centre Dimapur. The program was
conducted for the student-teachers and staff of UCTE. The program was chaired by Irangle of
2nd Semester and invocated by Uto Chishi, Asst. Professor of UCTE. A poem was read to us
by Sehochem of 2nd Semester and special song by Zubeen Newmai of 4th Semester.
The program ended with ample wisdom from the resource person followed by light
refreshment.
