The Department of Teacher Education, Unity College organised a Social Science and English
Activity under the theme ‘Confluence’ on 6th October 2026 in the Seminar Hall. The
programme was organised by student- teachers and faculty of Social Sciences and English
Pedagogy with the objective to foster creative thinking, civic competence, interdisciplinary
collaboration, group problem solving and to enhance communication skills.
The program was moderated by Mr. Man-I-Phom of 3rd Semester. The highlight of the
programme were spoken words, Picture Interpretation, Guess who and Map Challenge which
was participated by the 1st and 3rd Semester Student-Teachers. The programme concluded
with a vote of thanks by Mr. Thungjamo M. Yanthan.
