The Department of Teacher Education, Unity College, organised a programme on the theme “Classroom & Beyond: Reflections from a Life in Teaching” on the 24^th of April, 2026 for the 4^th semester student-teachers. The resource person was Dr. Talisangla, Vice Principal, P.M Shri Govt. Higher Secondary School, Chümoukedima. She shared about the role and duties of a teacher inside teaching spaces and extends even outside the classroom as well. She shared about her varied experiences which has allowed her to gain many real world learnings, personal growth and professional identity. She encouraged the student-teachers to embrace the classroom as well as beyond classroom experiences for nurturing capable and informed individuals.
