The Research & Development Cell, UCTE facilitated Dr. Keneivi-u Rhatsu on her successful
completion of her Ph.D. titled, “Teaching Effectiveness in relation to Professional
Commitment and Sense of Responsibility among Higher Education Teachers in Nagaland”
from Nagaland University on 9th October 2025 at Seminar Hall, UCTE. The program was
themed “Celebrating Scholarly Success” with words of recognition and appreciation by the
Principal Dr. Akala Longkumer. Dr. Keneivi shared on the challenges of being a scholar at
the same time fulfilling professional duties. The significance of support from supervisor,
family and friends over the years in completing the Ph.D. Dr. Sathish K also shared on the
importance of research and higher education in teaching profession and encouraged student-
teachers to pursue further in life as a teacher. It was a very exciting session to witness the
growth and development of a faculty and inspiring the young student-teachers that “nothing
is too early to start in life neither too late to start in life if one is determined and have passion
for it”. The program was attended by the faculty and student-teachers of UCTE.
