Science Exhibition under the theme: “Exploring the Wonders of Science”

To celebrate National Science Day, the Science Pedagogy 2nd Sem. student-teachers
organized a Science Exhibition under the theme “Exploring the Wonders of Science” on
28th February 2025 at the Seminar Hall of Unity College of Teacher Education,
Dimapur, Nagaland.
The main objectives of this event are to encourage scientific curiosity, innovation,
provide a platform for showcasing scientific models and ideas and to celebrate the
contributions of Science and Scientists to society.
The event was led by Tsongom and Bilgah and commenced with an invocation prayer by
Alemniela. The program featured various engaging activities, including:
The Science Character Show, where the student-teachers showcased renowned scientists
and their groundbreaking contributions.Participants dressed up as famous scientists and
presented their works, showing how their discoveries shaped the modern world. Some of
the notable scientists featured were:

  • Thomas Alva Edison
  • Dr. C.V. Raman
  • Sir Isaac Newton
  • Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam
  • Albert Einstein
  • Marie Curie
  • Gregor Mendel
    The participants not only dressed as these iconic figures but also delivered short,
    engaging presentations on their scientific achievements and their impact on the society.
    The show was both educational and entertaining.
    The exhibition also featured various Scientific Models, each demonstrating important
    scientific principles:
  • Greenhouse Model
  • Rocket
  • Solar System
  • Neuron Model
    Each model was presented by student-teachers, who explained the working principles and
    significance of their projects to the audience.
    The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Meryani, expressing gratitude to all
    participants and organizers, followed by a benediction by Nongam. The Science
    Exhibition successfully inspired student-teachers to appreciate the wonders of Science
    and its role in shaping the world.
